FAQ's

What is Family Therapy?

In family therapy, your clinician works with family members together to strengthen your connections, improve communication styles, and resolve conflicts.

Who attends family therapy?

All families look different. If you are unsure, your clinician will help guide you on what will be most helpful.

When do people start family therapy?

When your family is having trouble understanding each other and it is getting in the way of your day-to-day life.

What can I expect?

Every clinician leads family therapy differently to meet your family's specific needs. Ask your clinician what you can expect from their style of family therapy.

How long does it take?

The length of treatment depends on many factors.  Research shows the average length of family therapy can range from 8-12 sessions.

How much does it cost?

If you are in-network, your insurance may cover the cost depending on your plan and deductible. If you are out-of-network standard Private Pay rates apply.
